![]() Judith A. Stout, President Welcome to our site. We are one of 88 divisions chartered by CRTA. Statewide there are 53,000 members of which 310 belong to our Yuba-Sutter-Colusa Division. As implied by our core purpose, we are very active in respect to issues that impact our retirement benefits. Not only do we have a very effective State Legislation Committee and lobbyist but also each division has a Legislation Chair to organize grassroot support when needed. Our Chair, Judith Stout, represents our Division at all legislative meetings. |
However, as retired classroom teachers who spent years helping students, our ingrained interest in assisting people within the community has continued into retirement. Our members spend thousands of hours each year donating time to volunteer organizations. As former teachers, we realize the value of socializing and staying informed. We meet on the second Wednesday of each month from October through June at various locations. Odd months for lunch, even months for coffee. Board meets on the first Wednesday of the same months or as needed at various locations in Colusa, Sutter and Yuba counties. Our luncheon meetings draw an average of ninety five members. Due to our proximity to Sacramento we have access to CRTA staff for presentations. You are certainly welcome to attend our meetings. For further information please contact us via email or phone. See the Division Contact section at the bottom of the left column. |
